Seriously? I thought you must have used a longer focal length because the camera angle looks like you were on the street. It is a great shot either way though.

I was in the street. The right lanes in both directions get use for parking in the evenings.....I was standing right in front of my truck, parked. Took a few others from the sidewalk, but I liked the look standing in the street....

A GREAT place to get the river and bridges is at Thompson Boling arena. There is a ramp that leads up to the top and an overlook of the river is there. You can get the river and some of the knoxville skyline in it.

I was leaving the game tonight and looked again from the ramp on the East side of the arena, and I will be coming back to that spot for a few shots. I like the angle to the bridge much better, plus I can get more of the North side in the frame too.....
