What's new

My first real entry to the MF world

I'm rather surprised you couldn't find anyone out there to give it a good professional CLA and replace the curtain. One time expense and it should function perfectly. It's a Hassy, not what I'd call your typical "old clunker camera." Those things were built to last.

Sounds like you've made a lot of progress on your own - I envy you those skills! :)

I appreciate it, Terri. The 1000F and later cameras are WAY more reliable, from what I understand, but I'm going to keep this thing going even if I need to have parts made. I know it's going the be the Neverending Project, but it's worth it. It's definitely taught me a LOT about working on this stuff, and never ceases to have a new lesson waiting around the corner...

Could be worse. Could be a house! ;)

I happen to have one of those too... Which makes it rather surprising that I have any money left over for, you know, eating.
