Taken out my back window, he was pretty far away. I cropped about %35 from the original frame. Really want to get some decend robin photos so hoping for much better light and that he comes a bit closer next time!! My usual trick of resting the lens against the window ledge does wonders when the light has failed and the tripod is in the car..!

A decent Robin shot is something I have wanted for ages so I hope to get another chance with this one soon!

This is a lot better than ANY of the bird photos I have managed to get in all my life so far!!!
And I really like robins - they are such pretty birds.

Nice picture. Very pretty bird. Doesn't look like our US robins.

I was going to say that same thing... our robins are not as colorful as this little guy... I'm going to have to try to get a shot of a bird now to see what I can come up with.

Very nice goes along with christmas approaching!

Yes...North American robins dwarf their british cousins being about three times the size and having different markings. It seems about the only thing they have in common is the red chest. Thanks for sharing that little guy, Very nice.
