This is the best i can do for a macro with my Sony P72, I tried doing some other macro shots today but it wouldnt focus. This shot was taken a few months ago when i first got the guitar.

This is the Critique board, so rip me apart if you wish to do so.

The composition here is great - I just love it. But it's a tad too bright, and a tad too soft. Nothing that can't be fixed, since you have an excellent eye for what works with this type of macro. Try it again! I'd love to see this with better contrast and sharper.

Here's hoping you play rock on that thing.

I don't have enough experience to give you a serious critique but I know what I like. That's a nice shot and an even nicer Guitar, I've got a Carvin myself.

I have to agree with terri. I think if it was a little darker and not so soft it would be perfect.

It's pretty soft, but the effort is certainly there. Work on your lighting a bit, and work on your focus, and you'll have yourself a vey nice shot
