Nice colours but next time try and get in a little closer to fill the frame with your subject.

Unfortunately due to the auto-focus on my point-and-shoot, I have to be about that far away from my macro shots in order to keep them in focus
I do plan on trying these up again as soon as my SLR arrives.

I'm not sure the autofocus served you well here ... in both photos it looks like it focused on the wall instead of the flower

Unfortunately, the autofocus RARELY serves me well with my point-and-shoot. There is no way to focus it manually, however, which is one of the reasons I decided I needed a new camera
