Noticed I had company this morning on my kitchen wall.

People find it weird when a spider is spotted and they are all grabbing shoes or running away while we are attaching our lenses and moving in for the shot :s

Really like the usage of the wide open shutter to put some of the legs out of focus: gives the spider real perspective and dimensions. Well shot =]

Thanks but did you mean wide open aperture instead of wide open shutter? If so I consider f/18 FAR from wide open.
