Yea a reflector would help a lot. I love the location though! Where is it?

Turning the subject might help with the lighting issue, But beautiful shots. And they are in a great location!

I agree about the reflector. I bought an attachment to hold mine when I can't bring an assistant. It is seriously the BEST photo related thing I've bought in a long time.
Out of curiosity, why are you retiring the location? It's beautiful!

It's always best to get the best image as possible at shoot time, but if you don't have a reflector handy or noone to hold it, Photoshop's shadow/highlight adjustment can sometimes help. Hope you don't mind but I had a go with it. Shadow: 15:100:20 and apply a curve to lighten the face area.
