I did wood burning for 2 years before giving it up because of the toxic fumes. This is my last round.

Nice work, did you not consider a extraction fan to remove smoke etc?
There a number of small units for soldering that may work

Yup despite a dust collection system, I still have problems when doing any woodworking in the shop, especially sanding.

I tried a couple of approaches including fans and charcoal filters. Nothing I tried prevented the fumes from spreading throughout our house. It was very uncomfortable for my wife.

Woodworking dust a real problem, since the sleep apnoea I have now use hi grade masks esp when using hard woods.

That’s a shame but I understand, why you had to give up.

Beautiful work!

Of course you could just take it outside or to the garage. ;)

Joking aside, a lot of us face the "where to work" challenges, especially doing real hands-on work with tools like this. You're very talented. I'm sorry you've had to stop it. Anything involving fumes, noise or debris is hard to do around the house.

Thanks. Actually, we moved in 2022 to a house that has a covered patio which makes working outside possible. Thinking about it.
