Here is two of my very favorites...

This was taken on Lake Michigan and I probably chased this butterfly around for 30 or more minutes when it finally stopped on this beautiful flower and I quickly snapped it!

Now this shot is on the east coast of Michigan in Port Huron, near the bridge! Beautiful area!

I think the beach lighthouse one is really good. The composition works very well I think. Although the odd stepped wall thing really distracts the eye. I also wonder if some color manipulation could get the grass to pop, on the other hand, maybe the grass shouldn't pop. I really like how the clouds worked out on that one.

Yeah I tried deleting that wall as it is very odd but I couldn't get the whole thing. But thanks! I love the area!

I like the butterfly shot, i think it could use a little more contrast.
The lighthouse has very nice composition and colors but the building in the background is a little distracting.

Here are some more photos I have taken throughout the past 2 years. These were with my d90 and d5100, I have yet to adventure out with my new d7000, been pretty gloomy here in MI.
