Attempting some outdoor photography. I am posting the original picture cropped and uneditted (#1) And then some editting and switch to B&W (#2.) I am not that great with any program yet, so I was unable to paint over the blemishes. I would appreciate and comments and critiquing that would help me to take better portraits. 1. 2.
I'm not sure the angle of the pose works for me - The fact that he's looking down leads me right off and away from the photograph. I do prefer the blk/white one over the color though just b/c his hair is soo shiny and the blk/white creates nice texture.
Definitely the B+W shot. Think about using the healing brush in Photoshop to clean up some of the acne.
