Every two or three weeks I'll get onto an adventure with one of my cameras and today was SX-70 mystery day! To be honest I can't fault the camera itself but the expired film pack. My first go, below on the left, was okay but dark so directly following that I turned up the exposure by a tick and a half. I should have known and known better. I was past the good date by a YEAR+ lol!!

The expense of that cheap eBay find years ago is really zip however Polaroid SX-70 film is $20 per 8 shots.

My son got very excited after telling me his girlfriend found one of these in her late grandfathers effects “it’s so cool, it folds completely flat!!” Etc etc ;)

If I’m honest, though I acted cool and all knowing, I’m kind of looking forward to seeing it myself, never had any experience with these at all.

The original Polaroid chemistry process is long gone due to EPA restrictions. That produces the best colors. The New Polaroid film is decent but I learned not to be shocked if there’s a boner in a pack.

Nice one tbh

Other folks sharing their experiences with cameras I use is a lot of fun for me! Thank you all!
