My very (!) first frame!

For all those who have looooooooong found out how to frame their photos (in Photoshop even), it will be impossible to understand how much it elates me to have created my first black frame around one of my photos. I did this in the boring old "Paint" that came with my Windows, and it is wobbly and not well done and needs A LOT of more detailed work (until I'll get as good as AIRIC and his frames, yesssss! That is the plan!!!!

), but here it is!

Congrats. How come you chose black though? It seems to pull my eyes away from the photo and straight to the boarder. It feels likes there is too much contrast between the colours in the photo and the colour of the boarder. Have you tried using various colours already in the photo? One of those dark(ish) oranges? I think a lighter colours would work best though. Perhaps a slightly smaller boarder as well.

YAY! Looks good too. gotta agree with ferny here though. It's a tad distracting - maybe coz your long sides are thicker than the short sides. (?)
Great photo to use the border on too! It's excellent.

I shall try all that, now that I've found a way to create borders at all. Mind, I didn't have a clue as to how to make one until only a couple of minutes ago.
