Not my best day for pics but for those still interested.

1 I didn't see a lot of animals this day but I did see something I haven't seen there before, some wild turkeys. I didn't know they had purple eyes, cool!

3 BIG BOY!

4 For the crow and wild background lovers.

5 Ol' Blue Eyes himself. His name is Frankie.

6 Just a lil feller but he could still take your sandwich .... (yes, along with the hand holding it.)

7 A Black Necked Stilt. Don't ask me how it got it's name.

8 Roseate Spoonbill's stampeding the shallows.

My wife and I occasionally get to Anna Maria Island. Myakka is one of my favorite places to visit when we get down there.\\

Nice set, though it looks like the focus is off on the stilt. Love the herons.

Thanks, everyone. Yep, that oof pic was just one of the reasons I wasn't real happy with this particular outing. I ride my motorcycle to Anna Maria Island, often, it's a beautiful place to cruise. I'm going to launch the kayak from there soon and paddle out to Egmont Key Island and get pics of the old fort.
