I bought my first camera like what it november and i've did a lot of research on camera equipment. At the time i thought that the nikon n75 would be a good one. Should i have gone with the N80? I've heard a lot of nice things about it.

the n80 is the first in that series that will allow you to manually change the iso on the film. im almost 100% certain on this. There are subtle differences but the camera is basically the same. Other than manual iso(which is a must), and the more rugged design, there is no big difference.

They're both good cameras. As said there just a step apart so there aren't many huge differences; manual ISO, max shutter maybe?, options and accessories. It all just depends on what you want and need.

I got an N80 in May and it's a great camera. I've learned a lot using it and I know it's something I'll keep for a while. And although I went from autofocus and auto everything to manual everything in a short amount of time, there's plenty of options still to be mastered.
