no, i'm a student at OC so they're the only team that i shoot pretty much

Just like I was told for my basketball work. Need to have the action from the front. Backs of peoples' heads are not very interesting. Good sharp stuff with good bokeh otherwise. Colors look good as well.

How far away were you when you took those photos. It looks like you were right behind the plate! Very sharp pics.

i was sitting right behind the netting, to the left a bit. i need a bigger zoom lens...

excellent pics! I took some pics at my college's opener yesterday (sadly, I'm not playing this year for a variety of reasons) but with only a 18-55mm lens I obviously wasn't able to get the quality of closeups that you did
