My first stab at photographing flowers.

I tried to make it interesting and not just a head on shot of a bouquet.

I tried to think about composition of the flowers and off focus/bokeh attempt also.

I hope ive done a half decent job as my first offering??

My advice: never use the inbuilt flash on photos of flowers. No matter how much you thought about composition: the lighting kills it all

Yeah, im kinda stuck at the moment. Im caught between the, under exposed rock and the too much flash, hard place...Speedlite will be my next purchase....

Ive been loaned a macro lens today, so im guessing i wont be using that until i get my speedlite either

I guess alternatively i can reduce the flash power in my inbuilt flash to reduce flash intensity??

Or simply wait for light coming in through the window and make use of that?
