I really like the way you've framed this. The conversion, I believe, is lacking something though. I think you need to bring out some of the shadow detail and up the midtone contrast slightly. I learned alot from the following tutorial........

This is beautiful. I just think that the bottom stairs are too bright and it draws to much attention. But other then that you've captured a powerful scene.
