A short video in which they describe the process of setting up and taking a picture of a redwood tree.

I ran across this in the National Geographic box set bonus disc and found it online. Kinda makes me wonder if I've got the devotion to a single shot to 'make it' as a photographer :)

Very neat! :thumbup: I used to live among the redwoods and were always amazed by these wonders of nature. The finished product was great.
 
I shouldn't have watched that. I just got back from Colorado, thinking that I had gotten the desire to see the western side of the country out of me for a while. Now I really feel like I have to go see this for myself.

And now I'll probably have to subscribe to Nat. Geo. too
 
Yep...have this issue. Actually, it made me plan a road trip out to see them...I'm leaving March 20th!
 
Yes, I did see this - but there were slight mistakes in the stitching, which I found surprising for Nat Geo.

Still, the video is interesting!
