Went out with a friend today and this was what i came out with. I cropped some dead space out from the top, added the soft PP (Friends request).
The things im iffy about are exposure, composition, and the posing.
Any input would be much appreciated!

Tear it up.

Well, for starters, she's sitting on an irrigation pipe (at a joint AND with a sprinkler head visible) rather than a rustic wooden fence. Strike one.

You have a defined horizon with the treeline running through her head. Strike two.

Judging by the harsh shadows, you have chosen a less than opportune time of the day, have not used any difusser on the model or added any type of flash to help compensate for the harsh natural/ambient shooting conditions. Strike three.

As an extra comment, the hyper-extended right elbow and right knee add tension to the composition. It may be a natural tendancy for her, but you should look for those things in the viewfinder and correct them.

Bonus point: Great profile if it had been a head and shoulder shot.

mmmm... nice legs?
