Need advice on which CF/SDXC USB3 card reader to purchase

I just corrupted a 277 image D810 download into LR6 CC because my card reader was an SDHC USB 3.0 and not an SDXC.

I have been looking at the Hoodman STEEL and also at the Lexar dual slot professional readers.

Any suggestions?

Just plug camera to computer, but out reader altogether.

I suppose this won't work if you have few cards. Never heard of sd reader corrupting cards. Sorry can't help just to say pick proper card reader type with a reputable brand and check Amazon for user reviews
