Need help buying Nikon D5000

Argos website is offering Nikon D5000 dslr with 18-55 lens for 480 sterling pounds which makes 700 dollars ,is this a good deal?

I'm not familiar with Argos, but here in the US the same kit runs $750 USD including US shipping.

I think you should search more about it offline also. You can get more deals which will better as compare it.

i have another question that to all of you maybe silly but i just cant seem to get it,is this lens(18-55 mm) aseperate lens kit from the camera body or is it included when you buy the camera?

You might want to consider spending a bit more and getting the 18-105 lens. I find 55mm frustrating as its not quite long enough for a casual lens.

newegg has it cheaper than that. BNIB in the USA, but they are out right now. Get put on their notify list.

i'm in egypt and here it runs 4000 pounds which makes 714 dollars,i think i will buy it from anearby store instead of online since its about the same price.
