Need Help

How do I go about cleaning the sensor..I did the dumbest mistake and tried to lightly blow on the sensor to get any dust off but a little spec of saliva got on the sensor and I'm wondering how to I go about getting it off? It doesn't really seem to affect my pics but I surely don't want it there...it's a D40x
