Need recommendations for a new lens

I second that. I have tried several, none are as good.

Then again, none are as expensive.

You do get what you pay for.

Also, ive been looking into the Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6, any opinions on this glass?

It is slow, and the one I tried was not very sharp wide open... I had it for one day, and returned it. When something that slow isn't very sharp wide open, then you have a problem.

you seem to have a lot of the focal lengths covered there, maybe sell some old stuff and upgrade to higher quality glass, thats what im trying to do atm, or just get something fun like a fish eye!

I had the 28-70 and the 70-300 when i shot with my D200..

I upgraded to the D300 and
I purchased the 28-300mm for $450 .. I also use a 10-20mm for my line of work..

I have found that the 28-300 is most practical and good on price
