Hey guys, I know this is a weird question, but I want to get a kind of vintage 35mm camera, that i can take on a road trip and film it, and I was wondering if any of you knew what this type of camera was: I know its very random and probably very noobish, but if you guys know I'd really appreciate it
Hi and welcome to the forum. That looks like a 16mm movie camera to me. Were you wanting a still camera or video? If you were wanting to shoot a video of the trip and a camera making the trip, I'd look to an old folder kind of like this.. Google Image Result for http://www.mediajoy.com/en/cla_came/contina/contina.jpg or this.. they are medium formats but great cameras in their own right.. thats exactly what i needed thanks. Yea I really like the kind of grainy picture that you get from more vintage cameras.
That's a Keystone movie camera, possibly a Model A-7. It's probably 16mm but it could be a double 8mm. It's definitely not super 8.
