New. . . and not very knowledgeable (yet)

Hi, I am new. I am an avid gardener, and bought a really nice camera a couple yrs ago, mostly so that I could take photos of my gardens, as a supplement to my gardening journal. I like to walk around the yard and photograph my various flower beds every few days. The photographs are helpful in planning what to transplant, what to buy, etc. I suspect that if I could ever "get caught up with things", I could get bit by the photography bug like I've been bit by the gardening bug. . . Seems like gardening and photography would be a great pair of hobbies!
