Camera was announced 2 days ago (Apr 22nd) and will be available in early June for $499.99 looks like.
Some very nice upgrades from S1 IS. Major things being 5MP from 3.2MP & 12x optical zoom from 10x.
Im planning on getting it as soon as it comes out unless you guys can recommend anything that compares to this in the prices range and of course, features.
My original choice was Canon A95 or Canon S60, but once I heard about this one, it was a no brainer. Of course it is not dSLR, but $500 is a huge push for me as it is, anything more and Ill go from a poor college student to a bankrupt college student.
