could have sworn i downloaded these over a year ago on my old computers, perhaps these are updated versions?

There's View NX-2 (discontinued and no longer supported) and View NX-D.

yeah i think i had both going. But when i switched puters i only had the disc for nx2 so when installing software that is what went back in.

Went to site out of curiosity and only the MAC version was able to be chosen on the Download page. The page says choose PC or Mac but only MAC will click on...

The reason you could not click the windows version, might be because you were already on the windows download page, go to the bottom of the page for the download link.
