Greetings!
I picked up photography last February as an excuse to go tromping around in the woods, starting with a little Sony P&S, and suddenly realized I had a full-blown passion on my hands. I've been practicing as a self-taught hobbyist ever since. I eventually graduated to a more glorified Nikon P&S, and I'm currently saving for a 3100 or better, and using my boyfriends Canon DSLR in the meantime to train.
I don't know if I'll ever try to be anything but a hobbyist about it, but I like it so much I had to join a forum to try and learn as much as I could anyway. :mrgreen:
