Hi all! Looks like a pretty good community.
I am a part-time professional photographer (that means I lack the intestinal fortitude to give up insurance and benefits of the day job) from western Illinois. I have been shooting professionally since 1994 shooting weddings and event photography for local studios until deciding to finally cut out the middle man and shoot for me. I now specialize in family portraiture (seniors and children) and have aspirations of shooting commercially in a few years following retirement from the day job. I also provide mentoring at Supershoots workshops (www.supershoots.com).
I hope I can contribute! The photographer assistant below is my son. For some reason, he likes helping dad out in the studio.
