Hello everyone! I'm fairly new in the world of photography and very new here. I've looked for answers to some of my questions on here but today I finally decided to suck it up and join. I don't particularly enjoy putting myself or my work out there but I'm working on that. I look forward to learning as much as I can here.

Welcome aboard. Don't be shy, learning to accept and learn from critique (and even criticism) is one of the best ways to grow as an artist.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that everyone on the internet is just a pimply faced teenager, living in their parents basement. So don't take anything too personal.

Hey now, I do not live in my parent's basement. I sort of dwell there, you know, in a cool and hip sort of very non-codependent way... lol

Thanks you guys! It's ok, Robbins.photo, I live at home too but luckily we don't have a basement. And I'm not sure why I'm so self conscious about my art when I've performed probably a hundred times on violin.. Maybe because it's been a while.
I just took my guinea pig to the vet (he's ok

) and he's a photographer who takes people on teaching trips all over! So hopefully I'll be able to get some really cool shots sometime soon-ish

and I'll post them for critiquing, of course
