New guy here saying hi

Hi everyone,

I am new to photography forums in general, and this is my first one.

My family and I currently live in Misawa, Japan. I am a U.S. citizen working here as a civilian contractor for the Air Force.

Although I have been into photography for over 5 years now, I am just now getting serious about it.

I had a realization that this forum can be a source of inspiration for me, and can increase my skills.

I just rescently bought a 7D, the new 70-200mm 2.8 IS II, and the 35mm 1.4L in an effort to take my hobby to the next level.

I am looking forward to challenges and assignments, stuff of that nature. Things that will help my creative side, and provide inspiration.
