Hi, newbie here from Sheffield in the UK.
I've started to gain an interest in photography and am looking to get my first (proper) camera soon. After a bit of research I think I'm going to settle on a Nikon D5000 as these seem to get good reviews.
My main interests are my girlfriend and cars so would be looking at taking a lot of pictures of the above (although she doesn't like her picture taking very much
)
I'm off to browse the forum abit now....
