New guy

Just stopping by to introduce myself. I've been shooting with a Nikon D70s for the past 7 or so years. I recently sold that and got the Canon T4i with 18-135mm kit. So far I am loving it.

This is just a hobby for me. I've won a few contests in the past, but nothing major and never made any real money on it. I just do it for the love of the hobby.

I hope to learn a lot more and have fun in the process.

Welcome to TPF Daniel! Yeah, the T4i is a big improvement over the old D70. I still have my D70...it's my "high risk, might get ruined" camera.

Thank you everyone, and yes. It's a massive improvement over the D70s. I got that camera about 7 years ago. In technology terms, it's ancient. It still was a good camera, but I just wanted more, and that's exactly what I got.

I mostly wanted the STM lens that I got, I love that thing. It's virtually silent.
