I've been lurking here for a few weeks now and finally decided to say hello. My name is Carol and I got into photography back in the 70's - slacked off during the last several years and now I'm trying to brush up on everything I have forgotten as well as get into the digital side. I'm hoping to purchase a Sony Alpha 100 in the near future and presently use a Minolta Maxxum 7000 film camera as well as a P&S Olympus D-520 zoom digital. I mostly take photos of nature, but have recently started shooting Barns and country churches and would like to try my hand at some candid street shots. I really like the forums, glad to be here.
