New Lens!

I just picked up a new Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8G ED. I hope to get out this weekend and do some shooting with it. I plan to use it primarily with the F100 as the zoom range seems to make more sense for film than DX format, but we'll see. At around 2 lbs., it's certainly no lightweight!

That is a good lens the 24-70mm G F2.8 came with the Nikon D3 pro camera.
It has N for Nano crystal coating in the lens so to reduce flare and ghosting
on a photo shoot. It is nice you using on a F100 camera and thanks for the picture you put up.
I hope you have a good time going walk about and take lots of photos and hope you will post them here.

Thanks. I have a busy weekend coming up, but hopefully I'll have time to shoot a roll of Fujichrome. If so, I'll post some photos next week.

Man congrats. I know what you're going through. I got 28-70mm f/2.8 last week and have also been wetting my bed every night since in anticipation for my first chance to take it out.

If the 24-70 is anything as good as it's predecessor (and I'm lead to believe it is) you are going to love it!
