New Portrait Processing Technique (for me)

I'm curious what the technique is. I see warm tones, mixed with some selective high vibrance areas, a lot of skin softening, and some mild eye sharpening/whitening. Is that close?

Skin comes off as a bit too soft and warm for me, losing the chin in the body, but that's a personal thing. Overall, great photo, very well composed.

Kinda,

First used lightroom to do some post. This is where I made the skin soft with the noise reduction luminance.

In PhotoShop I created two curve layers one for shadow adjustments and one for highlight adjustments then I inverted them both and masked the areas where I wanted to add shadows and highlights.

Next I created a color balance layer and adjusted colors to my liking and masked them in.

Next I duplicated the image and sharpened the eyes, dodged and burn the detail in the eyes and masked that in.

Then I used selective color layer for more color adjustments.

Now I Used Nik Color effex and used the Reflector which gave a more warm color and a slight glow. Then I masked that in where I wanted it.

Done.

This is my first image doing this. I saw some tutorials on Jill Greenberg technique and kinda changed it a little bit rather that going into the channels layers I created lots of layer masks.

Thanks for viewing!
