Thanks everyone. The last is my fave too.
rp1600... the lighting is simply window light from double sliding doors and a corner window... i spread my white backdrop across a bed and fired away- light obviously coming from behind me. Either manual or aperture mode on my 350D (which is hopefully soon going to magically turn into a 5D!)... must check! Just purchased my new 580exspeedlight now all i need to do is learn how to use it!! x
