New to Forum and to Photography

I just bought a Canon Powershot s5 IS. I am just getting into photography and I was reading alot of reviews about this camera and felt it was a good one to start with. So far I love this camera. I have to get oriented with all of the different settings and features. I have never used a camera like this one before.

What are some accessories I should look into getting? I have a 2gb SD card, rechargeable batteries and I know I am going to pick up a tripod in the near future.

What kind of photography do you do? (for the most part) That influences what accessories you might need. I'm not sure of all the available accessories for the Powershot line, but I know there is a lens extender if you do animal shots or anything else you might need a more powerful zoom for.
