new to fourm and film photography

hello all my name is krista and i live in st louis .
im taking a photography class at my local college and needed a film camera for that class so i bought a canon eos elan 7 and am trying to figure out how to use it and such so i figured that this would b3e a good way to start . if there is anyone in my area that would like to get togather and have a photography day id love to do somthing like that i think it wouold just be a blast .

Welcome to the forum.

Do you use a digital SLR now? If so, you should pretty much already know what to do with the 35mm one - you just can't see your work right away.

Have a little confidence - if you know what to do digitally, you'll be fine with film.

If you're totally new to SLRs in general - yeah, you might have a little bit of a learning curve to get over.
