New to HDR

Hi all, I was wondering if I can get some good advice in making a great HDR shot. What software is most people using and do I stay clear of presets etc. Currently I am using HDR efex pro.

The best advice is to read, read, read. All your questions are answered here in the HDR forum. They have been asked and answered many times before. HDR Effex Pro is an ok software, but the most popular is Photomatix Pro.
