New to Photography from ATL....Canon XS

jst bought a Canon eos rebel XS used but the body was only about a month old. The lenses that came with it was a 35-70 and a 70-300 canon. Got a great deal on it.

My main thing was to capture pictures of my 4 year old and you know kids, they hardly stay still. I had a Nikon P100 which was good but I couldn't stand the recycle time of a point and shoot.

I've never researched cameras until now. Amazing how many different things there are.

I've had the Camera for 3 days now and already love it. I've got a lot to figure out so i'll be researching a lot here.

Hello yeah they seem very complicated and they are but the more you use it it becomes so much easier you won't be able to put the camera down. I have a Canon EOS Rebel T1i have had it about two months. They are so much fun

Start with all automatic ( the green sqare ) then as you get more comfortable explore the semi-auto and so on just have fun and don't worry about the exposition and things like that, this way you'll get familiarized with your equipment .
