New to the forum

Hi,

I am Susie. I am a mother to two boys. I run a small home based embroidery business called ShopSusie. I had a refering link from this site to my camera straps and thought I would check it out.

I am new to photography. I have a Nikon d-80 and a 4 light studio setup for ebay boutique pics. I would love to learn more about photography and how to better use my camera in general.

Hi Susie, my wife also does embroidery (I think she likes to spend more on embroidery machines than I spend on camera equipment ) and she uses her and my photography as part of that. Mostly she's getting into the other side of it, selling the blank clothing for other people as the digitizing of the images into machine language is such a pain and the good software is really expensive.

Thanks for the welcome. You are right about the software.. it cost more than my d-80. On the flip side if embroidery is her hobby it makes yours look cheap.
