Stumbled across a darned-near-new Toyo 4x5 today. Mint condition. No film holders or lenses, but I have enough of those. But included a focus cloth, rail extension, bag bellows and 2 flat lensboards and 1 recessed lensboard. Plus a hard fitted case.

nice!

1800 would have been nuts.

Toyo 45's are pretty monorail cameras!

My Toyo D45A system has been built up piecemeal, so far it lacks the spare lens boards, normal bellows & fancy case but has all the rest with an additional third standard for intermediate use & a few film holders :)
It doesn't look quite as smart having a back in a different color to the rest but so far has only come to £450, I wish I could grab a set of decent LF lenses for the same sort of price!

Had a 45A for about 10 years. Sold it for a lot less than I paid for it......who hasn't had THAT experience? Great camera though, congratulations on your new Toy(o)!
