New TPF member from Woodbridge,VA

Hello to the community... My name is Thane, I've been into photography for around 6 months. I'm a senior in high school who's taking an independent study for photography and graphics (took graphics the past 2 years). I'm still getting the hang of my camera, so i'm still a 'noob'. But i'm attempting to learn and absorb as much as i can. I would post up my most recent pictures but my previous laptop's hard drive screwed up some how... and I didn't back up anything so.. i lost it all. So I definitely learned my lesson from that.
However i have some photos on my deviantart page from when i first started off.
I know some of these photos are a little over exposed, but, this was me when i first started. So hopefully you guys can help me out, and C&C my photos that I will be posting up very soon.

Canon T1i
Sigma 24-70 2.8
18-55 (for sale for very cheap if anyone is interested)
a broken 1.8 50mm which i will be fixing soon
And a 48' tripod.
