New Website Hit or Not?

I am new to the photography industry. I have been taking pictures for free so I can build up a portfolio and I have finally put them on my website. I have been working on this website what seems like forever and I feel like it still needs help. Any thoughts or ideas on how to make my website look more professional or user friendly or just better....All feedback is welcome

Just had a look at your site. Looks nice. I know who you are and what you do.

I take it you aren't offering your services as a photographer. I didn't notice any mention of that. If you are hoping to get customers from it then I think it failed.

I love it, but I feel like it is a little bland.
