Well, the best way to learn is to try, and then post your pictures for critique here I have an introduction to composition on my blog that might be helpfull.

Well Lucky, I have a bad feeling that I messed up the settings of this wonderful camera. It really used to shoot great photos but now they are all blurry and now am trying to get advice from you guys.

are you on manual mode? if so, you can easily play with the settings. in auto mode you shouldnt have anything to change
