Newb from Baytown, Texas

Good morning from Baytown. Bought a D-5100 and decided to give photography a real shot. I have always loved taking novice pictures of different subjects, but decided to get a little more serious about it than a simple point and shoot. My passion seems to lean toward automotive and macro photo shots. Here are a few I have taken with my point and shoot Nikon. I should receive my 5100 today.
