any C&C will help. I'm very new to photography and am still learned what all the terms mean. I have a Canon SX10 IS and Olympus 1030 SW.

read the guide on how to post pictures on tpf. it is sticky to the top of the beginner forum. than post them so we could see them in here and maybe you will get some critique and advice.

hey! on the first shot it might help for you to cary a big piece of cardboard to shade your subject if the light is as harsh as in your shot. . .

and maybe a reflector to fill in on one side. (white posterboard even)

study concepts of composition. including the always mentioned rule of thirds.
