Newbie from Maryland

Hello my name is James and I live in Maryland. I am mainly reading and surfing the net because I am trying to learn all I can about digital photography. I recently purchased a Nikon D40 as a starter DSLR and maybe next year I might move to the D60. I am into amateur automobile racing as a hobby so when I am at the track I am always taking photos of cars in action or just sitting in the paddock or grid. So I guess what I am saying is that I love to take action shots.:heart: Right now I am still learning photography terminology and how to operate my camera to achieve the best pictures possible. Hopefully you guys can get me on the right path to successful photography.
