Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
This was my first attempt at a maternity like shoot. What did I do wrong and what can I do next time to make my images better? Thank you in advance for looking at my post.

They are very under exposed! A fill flash and longer shutter speed would have been helpful.

Take control of the light. Don't just accept what is there.

Drink beer during the middle of the day in the summer. Shoot outdoor shots around sun up or sun down.

Tha backgrounds were way to bright.

Use backgrounds that are dark with shade and position your subjects in the shade but near it's lighted edge. That is called open shade. The bright open sky can be used as the main light and fill flash or reflcted light can be used for facial shadow modeling and to separate the subjects from the background (pop).
